Botox Therapy
Botulinum toxin for chronic migraines, spasticity, and dystonia
Botulinum toxin (Botox) therapy is an effective and approved treatment for many neurological conditions. At our practice, it is administered with precision and safety by a specialized neurologist.
Katerina Saroukou has extensive training and experience in Botox administration from top centers in Germany. The therapy works by temporarily blocking neuromuscular transmission, reducing muscle spasms or, in the case of migraines, neural hyperexcitability.
Injections are performed on an outpatient basis at the office, without need for hospitalization. Results appear in 1-2 weeks and last 3-4 months, with regular repeat sessions.
